Spider-Man Game Getting Pair of No Way Home Suits

Spider-Man Remastered Getting Pair of No Way Home Suits

Developer Insomniac Games is working on Spider-Man 2 (and Wolverine), but that doesn’t mean that it’s done with its 2018 Spider-Man game. Well, at least its 2020 remaster. Spider-Man Remastered, the upgraded PlayStation 5 version of the 2018 game, is getting two skins inspired by the upcoming Spider-Man: No Way Home. The costumes will be patched in for free on December 10.

The studio announced the skins on Twitter. The new Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition trailer also made mention of them in its description on YouTube after briefly showing them.

The first skin is the base Spider-Man skin from Spider-Man: No Way Home. The second skin, which is also only in the trailer for a quick second or two, is the black and gold one from the movie as well.

These are skins for Peter Parker so they will not be in Miles Morales. They are also reportedly not coming to the original PlayStation 4 version; only the PS5 remaster. And since the PS5 remaster still isn’t being sold separately, players can only see this skin by buying the Ultimate Edition of Spider-Man: Miles Morales since it comes with Spider-Man Remastered.

However, it is possible they will come to the PS4 original down the line. The remaster launched in 2020 with three skins that eventually came to the PS4 version for free just over a week after launching on the PS5. Insomniac has not confirmed if that will be the case here though.

The studio has added in multiple suits from the films into its Spider-Man games. The 2018 game launched with the suit from Avengers: Infinity War as well as the two from Spider-Man: Homecoming. The costume from Into the Spider-Verse was included in the game’s second DLC episode while the suits from Raimi’s trilogy, the two Amazing Spider-Man movies, and Far From Home (including “Night Monkey”) were eventually patched in for free. Miles Morales also had Miles’ Into the Spider-Verse as well.
