Plot Summary: The highly anticipated new installment of "The Terminator" film franchise is set in post-apocalyptic 2018. John Connor is the man fated to lead the human resistance against Skynet and its army of Terminators. But the future that Connor was raised to believe in is altered in part by the appearance of Marcus Wright, a stranger whose last memory is of being on death row. Connor must decide whether Marcus has been sent from the future, or rescued from the past. As Skynet prepares its final onslaught, Connor and Marcus both embark on an odyssey that takes them into the heart of Skynet's operations, where they uncover the terrible secret behind the possible annihilation of mankind.

I think the first film should fallow Kyle Reese just because the first film didn't really establish much about him except that he was from a world ruled by robots and I think the new films can establish a little more about him.

In the TV series "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles", it gives a bit of Kyle Reese's story through flashbacks {in the world ruled by robots}. I'm not sure how this will tie in with the 4th film, although it has been consistent with the whole Terminator plot.

the terminator trilogy is my all time favorite movies mostly the second 1 im going 2 go see the 4th 1 but i am extremely pissed that arnold is not going 2 be in it the terminator isnt terminator without him but i am glad there at least going 2 come out wit another 1 tho should b diesent

imagine a terminator movie like saving private ryan.but fwith the enemy as futuristic cyernetiic robots and christian bale as john connor. its going to follow him through the experience of becoming mankinds last hope

I'm all for a new Terminator movie, but shouldn't the future have changed slightly/drastically seeing as how the terminatrix from T3 killed some of John Connors key commanders? Also, I think coming out and saying it's going to be 3 movies, will mean they'll hold back. Let's just hope that it builds up to something great, and doesn't fizzle out by the 3rd one.

It's written by the guys who did Catwoman. It's directed by the guy who did Charlie's Angels 2. And those guys who did Catwoman? Yeah, they're responsible for T3, too. If there was any way this movie could NOT suck, I couldn't possibly imagine what it would be, short of hiring an army of priests to exorcise the cinema-mutilating evil that festers within these men.
