Plot Summary: "The Dark Knight" reunites director Christopher Nolan with star Christian Bale, who returns to continue Batman's war on crime. With the help of Lieutenant Jim Gordon (Gary Oldman) and District Attorney Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart), Batman sets out to destroy organized crime in Gotham for good. The triumvirate proves to be effective, but they soon find themselves prey to a rising criminal mastermind known as the Joker (Heath Ledger), who thrusts Gotham into anarchy and forces the Dark Knight ever closer to crossing the fine line between hero and vigilante.

This movie is going to kick the world's ass! A major part of this is Heath Ledger as the Joker. There was word that Joker was supposed to be in the third film as well. If this ends up not being the case anymore we should all be thankful that we had Mr. Ledger at least in "The Dark Knight."

R.I.P. Heath Ledger.

I'm glad the studio went with a title not linking to the first film. I'm tired of sequels saying something part 2 or it part 5. The title of "The Dark Knight" is a great title, the studio actually put thought into the sequel. This will be a wonderful film and will deserve a lot of recognition for all the hard work put into making the film.
