Over the last two days 20th Century Fox has started unveiling character trailers for the multitude of mutants that will be seen in X-Men: First Class, which serves as an origin story to teh three X-Men films which began back in 2001.
I have included all four below and they include a trailer for Raven Darkholme (aka Mystique) played by Jennifer Lawrence (Winter’s Bone), Hank McCoy (aka Beast) played by Nicholas Hoult (A Single Man), Sean Cassidy (aka Banshee) played by Caleb Landry Jones (The Last Exorcism) and Alex Summers (aka Havok) played by Lucas Till (Battle: Los Angeles).
After Thor, X-Men: First Class will be the next big comic book hero film to hit theaters this summer as it will arrive on June 3. Many believe it will be the best comic book movie of the summer. Do these new character trailers do anything to help or hurt your confidence in the film?
X-Men First Class charts the epic beginning of the X-Men saga, and reveals a secret history of famous global events. Before mutants had revealed themselves to the world, and before Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Not archenemies, they were instead at first the closest of friends, working together with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to stop Armageddon. In the process, a grave rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto’s Brotherhood and Professor X’s X-Men.
