I’ve just added two new pictures and the brand new poster from Ben Affleck’s upcoming film The Town, which hits theaters on September 17, but will first premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival earlier that same month, where I expect I’ll be catching it.
The film serves as Affleck’s follow-up to his 2007 directorial debut Gone Baby Gone and centers on Doug MacRay (Affleck) who becomes enamored with Claire Keesey (Rebecca Hall), the manager of the bank he and his pals have just robbed, but she doesn’t know he was one of them. Affleck co-wrote the script with Peter Craig and Aaron Stockard who wrote the original draft based on Charles Hogan’s novel “Prince of Thieves.” The film co-stars Jon Hamm, Jeremy Renner, Blake Lively, Pete Postlethwaite and Chris Cooper.
