Zack Snyder’s ridiculous cup kick has no business being this clean
With the recent conclusion of the 2026 FIFA World Cup with Spain’s victory, soccer fever is yet to die down in the U.S. Zack Snyder joined in on the excitement as well, sharing a clip of himself doing a cool trick shot with his soccer skills. The filmmaker performed the trick during his recent visit to Panavision.
The short clip captures Snyder flicking a paper cup with his right foot, making it go straight into a trash can. The Man of Steel director pumped his fist in celebration after nailing the amazing trick shot. A series of Panavision cameras can be seen displayed behind him at the studio.
Snyder added a caption to accompany the video, sharing why he was at Panavision. “Down at @panavisionofficial cooking up some new lenses,” the director wrote. “Always love pushing the boundaries of what glass can do on set.”
Snyder added, “These are going straight into the next project — practical, organic, built for the big screen. Can’t wait to see what they capture.”
Meanwhile, fans are excited for Snyder’s upcoming project. He is directing the upcoming drama film, The Last Photograph, based on an original story by Snyder. It follows an ex-DEA operative who ventures into the South American mountains in search of his missing niece and nephew. The movie stars Stuart Martin and Fra Fee, who Snyder has previously worked with in Rebel Moon.
The Last Photograph does not have an official release date yet. However, some reports speculate that the movie may arrive next year.
