Lindsay Lohan, Rosario Dawson and Channing Tatum have joined the cast of grandma gang comedy Poor Things, toplined by Shirley MacLaine and Olympia Dukakis with Ash Baron Cohen directing.
Variety says MacLaine is also producing with Rob Hickman through his Still Rolling Productions. Shooting is starting Wednesday.
Trent Haaga’s script was inspired by real news events and crime scandals surrounding recent arrests and convictions of elderly women for various “grandma gang” exploits, which have included scams and cons involving drug sales, insurance fraud and murder.
