Goodbye Earth centers itself in the once-peaceful city of Woongcheon, which turns into chaos after news of the asteroid strike. With only 200 days to live, people in the society hold on to each other until the end. The photos depict the characters navigating the apocalypse in their way. Se-Kyung is a middle school teacher stuck between the past and the present. While she holds on to happy memories of teaching her kids, she wonders about the apocalypse while volunteering at the city hall.

Se-Kyung remains determined to fight for her students. Meanwhile, Seong-Jae is a priest who calms down anxious believers and prepares himself for people to believe in and rely on him in a society filled with chaos. In-Ah is the company commander of the combat service support battalion, responsible for maintaining order and peace and transferring supplies. She holds a strong character and does everything to protect her people.

Kim Kang-Hoon, Kim Bo-Min, and Kim Do-Hye play Jin-Seo, So-Min, and Ha-Yul, attached to Se-Kyung. They remain in the fear of never being able to grow up and enjoy adulthood. Kim Yeo-Jin plays supermarket owner Yeo Mi-Ryeong, who runs the store despite reeling from the loss of her son. Kang Seok-Woo plays the head priest who goes missing. Meanwhile, veteran actress Kim Young-Ok plays Kim Bo-Ae, the oldest of all residents in the city.

Several other cast members play exciting roles in the K-drama. These include Park Hyuk-Kwon (Ha-Yul’s father, Soo-Geun), Baek Ji-Won (So-Min’s mother, Oh Gye-Hyang), and Cha Hwa-Yeon (In-Ah’s mother, Joo Myeong-Ok). Park Joo-Hee plays nun Lee Chae-Hwan, who helps Seong-Jae run the cathedral. Park Ho-San essays the role of In-Ah’s superior, who holds a secret. Yoon Seo-Ah plays Chae Young-Ji, and Baek Joo-Hee plays her mother, Do Jeong-Ah, who handles her unpredictable daughter.

The ensemble cast promises an engaging storyline. Don’t forget to tune in to Goodbye Earth on Friday, April 26, 2024, on Netflix.
