Netflix’s upcoming K-drama Goodbye Earth released a brand new poster, giving viewers a glimpse of its storyline. The series is a pre-apocalyptic drama that follows the story of individuals who navigate their final few days before an asteroid strikes the Earth. The characters battle for survival amidst the incoming catastrophe that will collapse all human civilization. The drama will be released on Netflix on Friday, April 26, 2024.

The newly released poster for Goodbye Earth presents three central characters, Se-Kyung (Ahn Eun-Jin), In-A (Kim Yoon-Hye), and Sung-Jae (Jeon Seong-Woo), facing impending doom. The emotions in the poster are raw, teasing viewers with an engaging story of human survival. The series is based on the novel by Japanese author Kotaro Isaka. Kim Jin-Min serves as the director, while Jeong Seong-Joo is the writer of the upcoming Netflix K-drama.

Goodbye Earth follows the story of four individuals navigating their final days before an impending disaster. They live in the once-peaceful city of Woongcheon, which has become chaotic after news of an incoming asteroid strike. With the country labeled a danger zone, society has become a madzone. With only 200 days left before the world comes to a disastrous end, the citizens navigate their last days on Earth.

The poster captures three main characters: Se Kyung, In Ah, and Seong Jae. According to Netflix, Se Kyung is a middle school teacher who goes above and beyond for children affected by crimes. However, she also realizes that they might never grow up. In the poster, she has bruises on her face, while her eyes well up with tears.

Meanwhile, In Ah is a battalion commander who works hard to safeguard people and maintain peace during tough times. The poster reveals her grit and courage to stand firm against the forces of nature. Lastly, priest Seong Jae helps people gain composure, comfort, and courage to endure challenging times. The poster focuses on his intense gaze, teasing his determination to help others amidst the impending disaster.

The caption alongside the poster hints at community and human survival and reads, “D-200 until the end. Today and tomorrow, and until the end, we stay together.” The drama presents a gripping narrative of humanity in the middle of chaos. Goodbye Earth also stars Yoo Ah-In, Seo Ye-Hwa, Yoon Seo-Ah, Hong Woo-Jin, and others.
