Originally a background figure, Rita Lesley became a loyalist to the DiMera legacy and is often seen with EJ.
- Lexie Carver, played by Nikki Crawford
Lexie was originally played by Renee Jones from 1993 to 2012. She was presumed dead but revealed to be alive in a mysterious lab by Dr. Wilhelm Rolf. Thus, Nikki Crawford returned as the new Lexie in March. Talking about her preparation for the role, Crawford told TV Insider, “I don’t watch soaps, but like with any role that I take on, I do extensive research.” She further added, “So, I watched the show. I delved into her backstory through Google searches.” Moreover, Crawford spoke to the cast, and the producers and the directors filled her in on Lexie’s backstory. In the new week, Lexie will share important scenes with Abe.
