Blue Beetle: Is There a Post-Credits, Mid-Credits, or End-Credits Scene?

The Blue Beetle movie is only a few hours from its U.S. theatrical release, and fans are curious to hear whether there is a post-credits scene they should be aware of once the movie is over. Does Blue Beetle feature any additional end-credit footage of the DC hero once the names start rolling? Let’s find it out. No worries, this post is spoiler free.

Is there a Blue Beetle post-credits scene?

Blue Beetle has two post-credits scenes.

ComingSoon can confirm the reports that the DC Studios film features a mid-credits scene and an end-credits scene. We won’t discuss what happens in those scenes. Let’s just say that the mid-credits scene might set up a potential sequel for more Jaime Reyes adventures. While the first scene comes immediately after the main credits, fans must wait until the end of the full credits to catch the second one. The end-credits scene is a nice nod to Mexican culture.

Is there a Blue Beetle sequel?

DC Studios hasn’t greenlit a Blue Beetle sequel yet.

Considering Shazam! Fury of the Gods and The Flash didn’t perform as expected at the box office, DC Studios is very careful about new sequels. Much will depend on how well Blue Beetle will do at the box office. That, and what plans (if any) James Gunn and Peter Safran have for Jaime in their version of the DC Universe.

Directed by Ángel Manuel Soto, Blue Beetle opens in U.S. theaters on August 18. The cast is led by Cobra Kai standout Xolo Maridueña, who portrays the titular hero. The movie also stars Raoul Max Trujillo, Elpidia Carrillo, George Lopez, Harvey Guillén, Susan Sarandon, and more.
