Fox International has released the first two official photos from James Cameron’s Avatar. The pic above previews one of the organic avatars in an incubation tube along with Sam Worthington who plays Jake Sully. An avatar is what humans have themselves “jacked” into in order to walk the surface of Pandora, and that is Jake’s avatar.
As previously mentioned, I first got a look at what you see above at the footage screened at Comic Con and I fully expect it to be part of the upcoming “Avatar Day” on August 21, but we already told you how we feel about that.
