Disney+ Loki series

First Concept Art from Disney+ Loki Series Revealed

At the recent Investor Day for Disney, Kevin Feige revealed a still from the upcoming Disney+ series that focuses on Tom Hiddleston’s Loki. While the image was partially obscured, you can see the God of Mischief strolling through the streets of a city. Although, based on the movie theater’s marquee in the background, which is playing Jaws, this particular image finds him in 1975 — the year that Spielberg’s horror flick hit theaters. You can check out the picture in the gallery below!

It’s unclear if this is the “real” Loki that escaped from a pivotal scene in Avengers: Endgame, as he goes through time to manipulate reality, or if it’ll involve the much larger multiverse that was just introduced.

Disney is developing multiple limited series featuring characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with Loki and Scarlet Witch being two of the shows in development. Both Hiddleston and Elizabeth Olsen are expected to reprise their roles for their respective series. There are plans for other limited series that will feature other Marvel heroes who haven’t gotten their own movies.

Marvel Studios will oversee the new limited series, with each only consisting of six to eight episodes, with Feige taking a hands-on role in their development.

So far very few of the Marvel TV series have featured characters from the films, despite the shared MCU landscape. Marvel TV and Marvel Studios have operated as separate entities, with shows like Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., DaredevilLuke CageJessica Jones and the rest often referring to events in the films while the movies ignore the characters who originated on the small screen.
