1925 Phantom of the Opera Coming from One Way Static Records

One Way Static Records announced it will be releasing a score for the 1925 film The Phantom of the Opera (directed by Rupert Julian) conducted by The Laze. Pre-orders are now available via One Way’s website. The score is being offered up on vinyl, CD and cassette.

One Way describes the The Laze as “an amazing 7 piece band bringing you a great score in the vein of Goblin & Carpenter mixed with nervous classical music and Baroque Dance.”

Luke Insect is responsible for the art created for this release.

Regarding the vinyl:

THE LIMITED SPECIAL EDITION VINYL comes packaged in a deluxe gatefold old school tip-on jacket with printed insert.

  • CLEAR & BLACK SPLIT VINYL
  • BLACK VINYL

The color variants are inserted randomly and are limited to #500 copies each worldwide. They come sequentially foil numbered (2 series of /500). The BLACK VINYL edition is imited to #1000 copies worldwide.

Also included is a STREAMING CARD where you can find a private link to view the original 1925 movie synchronized with the new soundtrack. This card is exclusive to the limited vinyl edition.
