After an explosive AEW Revolution this year, all eyes are on the 2024 edition of the professional wrestling PPV event. AEW Revolution 2024 marks the fifth annual release of the marquee segment. This year, the Revolution took place on March 5 at the Chase Center in California.
The Texas Death & Iron Man match garnered the most fans in 2023. Jon Moxley and Adam Page squared off in the Texas skirmish, which was labeled a “classic” by critics. The nine matches contested in the event included one on the Zero Hour pre-show.
While the dates for the New AEW Revolution are unknown, it is traditionally slated to be in March. At the time of writing, there are no concrete set dates for the event. However, there’s no doubt that expectations from Revolution will be higher after its immense success this year.
Sting says his last match will be in AEW Revolution 2024
While the date for AEW Revolution 2024 is yet to be announced, the event promises to be a fitting finale for a legendary fighter. Earlier, Sting announced that his last match would be during the event.
Speaking on the October 18, 2023, episode of AEW Dynamite, he recollected the time he shared the ring with Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, and Dusty Rhodes. He dropped news of his retirement soon after his trademark stinger, “the only thing that’s for sure is nothing is for sure.” Sting’s words sounded like he was leading up to calling time on his career. His final fight year ties up his AEW run that began in 2021’s Revolution.
Sting is a WWE Hall of Famer and has been a big star in WCW and TNA during his decorated career. He signed with AEW in 2020 and has been featured with the company ever since.
