Most Craved with Daredevil Showrunner Steven S. DeKnight

In the player above, you can check out the latest episode of Most Craved, our weekly online discussion series wherein our hosts tackle the biggest entertainment news of the week.

This week marks Most Craved‘s 52nd episode and we’re celebrating our one year anniversary with special guest host Steven S. DeKnight. DeKnight, as Marvel fans well know, served as showrunner on the first season of Netflix’s first foray into the MCU, the hit series “Daredevil.” We’re discussing a number of points from throughout the first show’s first season, so beware of spoilers if you’re not fully caught up. DeKnight also discusses the broader Marvel Cinematic Universe and its relation to the Netflix shows and explains why, unfortunately, he won’t be back for the already-announced second season.

For even more from DeKnight, check out a full hourlong discussion at CraveOnline’s The B-Movies Podcast.

Meanwhile, the Distinguished Competition is having a lot of luck with their own small screen DC Comics universe. With the finales of both “Arrow” and “The Flash” behind us, we’re discussing the series’ announced plans to explore the multiverse while, on the big screen, it sounds like we’re getting a very different take on Barry Allen with Ezra Miller set to play the role in a big screen take on the scarlet speedster, planned for release in 2018.

Finally, we got a first look at Ogrim the orc from Duncan Jones’ upcoming Warcraft. Are we finally getting a faithful video game-to-movie adaptation?

In addition to DeKnight, this week’s hosts include William Bibbiani of CraveOnlineJenna Busch of Legion of Leia, and our own Silas Lesnick. Don’t let the conversation stop with us, though! We want to hear your own thoughts on not just these topics but on anything you’d like to see the show cover in the future. Let us know in the comments below!

We’ve also launched the official Most Craved Twitter feed and we’d love it if you’d give us a follow! You can watch previous Most Craved episodes by clicking here.
