Bear Grylls‘ TV show’s new trailer sends popular Prime Video show’s cast on a wild adventure. The show will feature the adventurer with the main cast from the historic drama, The Chosen.
The official synopsis reads, “[Cast members] Jonathan Roumie, Paras Patel, Elizabeth Tabish, Noah James, Luke Dimyan, and series creator and executive producer Dallas Jenkins trade the set for the wilderness as they leap from planes, scale cliffs, eat scorpions, zipline over canyons, and navigate some of the country’s most rugged terrain under the guidance of renowned adventurer Bear Grylls.”

What do we see in the trailer for the Bear Grylls crossover show?
In The Chosen in the Wild with Bear Grylls trailer, we get an official look at The Chosen cast in their adventure outfits, heading into the Wild with the adventurer survivalist Grylls.
Together, the group faces challenging environments ranging from Utah’s Castle Valley and Canyonlands to the Colorado River and the Adirondack Forest. Beyond pushing them out of their comfort zones, Grylls also engages the cast in deep conversations about their faith and spirituality.
Grylls is popularly known for his show Man vs. Wild. However, he’s also the author of Soul Fuel and The Greatest Story Ever Told, a book based on a retelling of the life of Jesus reflecting his own deep faith. The Chosen, which retells the story of Jesus and his disciples, is set to premiere its sixth season.
Prime Video released the new trailer alongside a first extended look key art for the upcoming series. It premieres August 9, 2026. All six episodes will be available at launch in the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Latin America, the UK, and Sub-Saharan Africa.
Robert Austin Vanover directed all six episodes of the show. Grylls, Jenkins, Brad Pelo, Katherine Warnock, Ben Simon, Delbert Shoopman, Ben Mitchell, Rick Murray, Brent Ryan Green, Ryan Swanson, and Tyler Thompson serve as executive producers.
