House of the Dragon Season 3 Trailer Readies Game of Thrones Fans for War

The trailer for House of the Dragon Season 3 has been released.

House of the Dragon premiered on HBO Max in 2022. The second season of the popular Game of Thrones spin-off show created by George R. R. Martin and showrunner Ryan Condal then followed in 2024.

What happens in the House of the Dragon Season 3 trailer?

The House of the Dragon Season 3 trailer takes Game of Thrones fans back to Westeros as the show continues to chronicle the rise and downfall of the Targaryens. War is now approaching following the events of Season 2, with the highly anticipated Battle of the Gullet between the Blacks and Greens set to be featured in Season 3.

HBO’s Francesca Orsi previously said, via Deadline, “I’m really excited. I think you’re going to be in for a great surprise on how we start [Season 3] with an exciting battle…“It’s just so massive, we needed the time to build it. One of the lead producers on it [Kevin de la Noy] worked on Titanic, so all that he brought in terms of acumen of what happened on the Titanic and how that entire experience is built, he brings that expertise to it.”

HBO‘s House of the Dragon Season 3 will premiere in June 2026.
