Commenting on Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Cameron said, “T2 was made for theaters, and our lovingly-prepared 3D version, coming back to the big screen, is the absolute best way to see the film. I believe it’s safe to do spoilers after 35 years, so SPOILER ALERT: the good guys win against the AI superintelligence! And maybe that’s a message of hope we all could use this summer.”

Terminator 2: Judgment Day is the second film in the Arnold Schwarzenegger-starring Terminator franchise. Made on a reported budget of around $100 million, the film had a great theatrical run and grossed around $517 million worldwide. It was loved by both fans and critics and holds a 90% Tomatometer and a 95% Popcornometer score on Rotten Tomatoes.

Alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger, T2 also stars Linda Hamilton, Edward Furlong, Robert Patrick, Earl Boen, and Joe Morton in key roles.
