“The Porn Identity” is an episode of Lethally Blonde that will be aired on ID on Monday, April 1, 2024, at 10 p.m. ET. It will follow the life and crimes of Timothy Boham that led to his conviction and sentencing to prison.

Timothy Boham was 28 years old when he was found guilty of first-degree murder after deliberation, aggravated assault, and felony murder. Boham was a male escort and was convicted of the premeditated murder of his boss and former sexual partner, John Kelso. Kelso was a wealthy businessman in Denver, the Denver Post reported. Boham was also reportedly a gay porn actor. He appeared in films between 2004 and 2005 under the name, Marcus Allen.

Kelso was 43 years old and was found dead in the bathtub of his home on November 13, 2006. He was the president of a Denver collection agency, Professional Recovery Systems. He was found by his housekeeper, according to CBS News. Timothy Boham and Kelso allegedly knew each other for 11 months during which they hung out numerous times. Boham reportedly worked twice at the Professional Recovery Systems. He also had a paid sexual encounter with Kelso in 2005 for the very first time.

Boham was first arrested after he was charged with first-degree murder and aggravated robbery. He was accused of shooting Kelso in the head on the afternoon of November 13, 2006, at the victim’s home on Seventh Avenue Parkway. Timothy Boham reportedly returned to the crime scene multiple times after the murder. He did this to remove clothing, a shell casing, bedding, and other materials. He also attempted to clean the body of fingerprints.

How many years was Timothy Boham sentenced to?

According to Colorado law, anyone convicted of first-degree murder must spend the rest of their life in prison without the possibility of parole. Timothy Boham was then sentenced to life in prison without possibility of parole. The jury reportedly took less than five hours to convict Boham. His lawyers argued that Kelso died from suicide and his death was made to seem like a murder to recover his life insurance money.

However, the court found that Boham also bought a power saw. He used it to cut open Kelso’s safe in which he believed there was as much as $400,000. However, he only found two car titles in the safe. He then went to his mother’s house in Aurora and allegedly confessed to shooting John Kelso. His mother, sister, and former girlfriend testified against him in court.

In 2016, Timothy Boham was caught a few feet away from the Mexican border at the Lukeville port of entry. He reportedly told the customs officer that he was a first-degree murder fugitive from Denver and was returned to Denver by authorities.

While he acted in several gay porn films under a different name, Boham widely boasted about having several girlfriends. He also displayed seeming homophobia. Boham once claimed to have thoroughly scrubbed his apartment because a gay man lived there before him. He reportedly made this claim in a conversation with Lara Holland, his neighbor, according to another report by the Denver Post.
