Kim Farrant‘s thriller Strangerland premiered at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year and was snatched up for domestic release by Alchemy. Now set for a July 10 theatrical and On Demand release, the first trailer for the film has arrived.
Starring Nicole Kidman, Joseph Fiennes and Hugo Weaving, the film centers on a couple, Catherine (Kidman) and Matthew Fiennes), who’ve just arrived in a remote desert town and are tormented by a suspicion when their two teenage children mysteriously vanish.
From what I saw the film didn’t exactly land with Sundance critics, but most everyone seemed high on the performances, give the trailer a watch below and let me know what you think in the comments below.
