Walt Disney Pictures has released a second, full trailer for their upcoming animated feature Frozen, a film I’m sure they hope the old adage “third time’s a charm” will ring true at this year’s Oscars as they follow on the heels of Tangled and Wreck-It Ralph, two films that arguably deserved to win Best Animated Feature only to see lesser projects take the crown.
Frozen centers on Anna (voiced by Kristen Bell), who sets off on a journey, teaming up with rugged mountain man Kristoff (voice of Jonathan Groff) and his loyal reindeer Sven, to find her sister Elsa (voice of Idina Menzel), whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter. Encountering Everest-like conditions, mystical trolls and a hilarious snowman named Olaf (voice of Josh Gad), Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom.
Along with the trailer I also have a new poster for the film along with two new pictures, one above and another below.
