Set to hit limited theaters on May 4, Lionsgate has debuted the official trailer for Miley Cyrus‘s new movie LOL along with the first poster and nine pictures.
Co-starring Demi Moore, the film centers on the social media-centric Lola (Cyrus) and her friends as they navigate the peer pressures of high school romance and friendship while dodging their sometimes overbearing and confused parents. When Lola’s mom, Anne (Moore), “accidentally” reads her teenage daughter’s racy journal, she realizes just how wide their communication gap has grown. Additional members of the cast include Ashley Greene, Thomas Jane, Douglas Booth and Ashley Hinshaw.
It will be interesting to see how this film does considering all I ever hear of Cyrus lately are all the unbecoming things she’s doing and Moore has suffered her own issues as of late. I’ve never been all that tuned in to the Cyrus audience, is she still bigger than ever or have things cooled in that department?
