Marisa Tomei and musician Josh Groban have joined the cast of the untitled Steve Carell marital crisis comedy at Warner Bros. Pictures, to be directed by John Requa and Glen Ficarra from a Dan Fogelman script.
The story centers on a father whose life unravels as he deals with spousal problems and tries to manage his relationship with his children.
Tomei will play the first woman that Carell’s character dates after he’s been schooled by Ryan Gosling’s character in the art of meeting women. Groban will play the boyfriend of Emma Stone’s character.
Annaleigh Tipton (“America’s Next Top Model”) also is part of the cast.
