First Look at Paul Rudd in Marvel’s ‘Ant-Man’

Production just got underway yesterday and already we have our first look at Paul Rudd as Scott Lang in Ant-Man for director Peyton Reed.

The picture comes via USA Today where Rudd said, “The way technology has advanced just in the last few years, picturing this world, what they can do with this kind of story line and character, I thought this could be something that could be very strange and hasn’t been seen before… I was really excited about being a part of something like that.”

Set for release on July 17, 2015, Rudd co-stars alongside Michael Douglas, Michael Peña, Evangeline Lilly, Corey Stoll, John Slattery, Bobby Cannavale, Judy Greer and Tip Harris.

Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, con-man Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.
