On June 1 it looks like you’ll have to make the decision between Piranha 3DD and Snow White and the Huntsman when it comes to new major theatrical releases. Which apple will you bite from, the one that bites back or the one delivering the fruit? (Feel free to decide for yourself which is which.)
The one I am more interested in is Universal’s Snow White and the Huntsman, though I feel it could just as easily be one of the summer’s better films as it could be the biggest disappointment over the next four months. Which will it be?
Starring Kristen Stewart as the titular Snow, the film centers on her dispute against the evil queen (Charlize Theron) who has dispatched a huntsman (Chris Hemsworth) to kill the fair maiden not knowing she has actually been training in the art of war with the very same man. Swords clash and other stuff happens, but will it be your average actioner or something better?
