What are Your Guilty Pleasure Movies, but Don’t Like to Admit It?

I thought the response to my “Do You Ever Lie about the Movies You’ve Seen? ” post was excellent, and on top of everything so many of you said, several new questions came as a result. One of them, offered by ‘Steve Mott’, asks the question in the headline: Do you have guilty pleasures you don’t like to admit to?

Steve lists his guilty pleasure as 10 Things I Hate About You, a film I personally love and was just discussing recently with a friend when the topic of “Where the hell did Julia Stiles go?” came up. To that effect I also love Save the Last Dance and to answer the Stiles question before someone gets smart in the comments, yes, she has the Bourne films and wrote and directed a film starring Zooey Deschanel and has also been doing plenty of work on stage. Moving along…

Other personal guilty pleasures of mine include Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, The Mummy and The Mummy Returns, Days of Thunder, The Perfect Storm, The Program, Shakespeare in Love, You’ve Got Mail, Lady in the Water, xXx, Graffiti Bridge, The Holiday, How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days, A Knight’s Tale, Maverick, National Treasure, Blow, Cruel Intentions, Devil’s Advocate, Enemy of the State and Titanic.

Now, of that list, films I would say I absolutely love would be Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, Days of Thunder, The Perfect Storm, You’ve Got Mail, Lady in the Water, A Knight’s Tale, Devil’s Advocate and Titanic.

I know it’s not cool to admit to loving Titanic (especially if you are a guy) and what about that Celine Dion song? Okay, I’ll give you the Celine Dion song, but as far as everything else in Titanic I simply love it. However, to say you like Robin Hood is crazy because what about Kevin Costner’s accent? And what? I like Lady in the Water? But M. Night Shyamalan is an *insult*, *insult*, *insult* and a raging *insult*! Yup, love these movie and I can watch any of them whenever and never be bored.

So what do you have to offer? What are your guilty pleasures? Can you admit the ones you won’t even tell your friends you love? After all, you’re anonymous on the web, it’s time to let a little of yourself be known to a mass audience that doesn’t even know who you are.

Perhaps it’s only appropriate while you’re putting together your list you listen to Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On” REEEEEEMIX!!! Hit play and let your heart go on, and on, and on, and on, and on!

Or maybe Sam Jackson’s audition for Titanic is more to your liking:
