Anna Faris is probably best known as the bumbling blonde in the Scary Movie films and she is going to keep the comedy rolling with a starring role in Frequently Asked Questions About Time Travel alongside Brit comedic actors Chris O’Dowd, Marc Wootan and Dean Lennox Kelly.
The sci-fi comedy will be directed by Gareth Carrick and will be released by Picturehouse. The Jamie Mathieson script follows three social outcasts — two geeks and a cynic — as they attempt to navigate a time-travel conundrum in the middle of a British pub. Faris plays a girl from the future who sets the adventure in motion. Shooting is due to start next week in the U.K.
On top of this pic Faris is set to also topline an untitled comedy about a centerfold for Happy Madison and Paramount. The project is based on her idea and is being written by Karen McCullah Lutz and Kirsten “Kiwi” Smith.
