Emily Blunt’s Biggest Movie of 2026 Is Finally Coming To Streaming Very Soon

Emily Blunt’s biggest movie of 2026 just locked down its streaming debut, and it’s sooner than you think. The $688 million sequel finally gets its at-home release roadmap with a packed set of extras.

The Devil Wears Prada 2 arrives on streaming this month

20th Century Studios revealed The Devil Wears Prada 2 will start streaming on Disney+ and Hulu on July 29, 2026. The Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, and Emily Blunt-led sequel debuted in theaters on May 1, 2026. Since then, it has grossed $688 million globally on a production budget of $100 million.

Meanwhile, viewers can already purchase the film digitally as of June 30, 2026, through Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango at Home. The 4K UHD and Blu-ray editions will then arrive on July 28, 2026. Additionally, a DVD bundle pairing the original film with the sequel launches on the same date.

The movie’s official synopsis states, “Andy Sachs (Anne Hathaway) returns to Runway magazine as the new features editor, where she finds her formidable former boss Miranda (Meryl Streep) facing threats to her glossy print empire. Familiar frenemies and fresh faces join the catwalk in this stylish sequel.”

Furthermore, bonus content on the physical releases includes behind-the-scenes featurettes. These cover the cast’s updated looks, filming during Milan Fashion Week, and costume designer Molly Rogers’ creative process. Lady Gaga and Doechii’s original track Runway also gets a dedicated music video feature. Director David Frankel, writer Aline Brosh McKenna, and Rogers provide full audio commentary as well.

The sequel currently sits at a 77% Tomatometer rating and an 84% Popcornmeter rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Its opening weekend pulled in $76.7 million domestically and $233.6 million worldwide. The film comfortably outpaced the original’s $326 million lifetime global haul. David Frankel directed the project from McKenna’s screenplay. Wendy Finerman produced, with Michael Bederman, Karen Rosenfelt, and McKenna serving as executive producers.
