Variety reports that Spider-Man 3 was the #1 film overseas this weekend for the third straight time, dominating with an additional $49.6 million from 15,850 theaters in 105 markets.
The third installment saw an overall decline of just 41% for the weekend. It’s already the No. 1 film of all time in Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, the Philippines and Singapore, and its foreign total has hit $465.1 million — the 16th highest of all time. Its worldwide total has reached $747 million, No. 22 on that list. Domestically, it’s earned $281.9 million — the 28th highest of all time.
Combined grosses of the Spidey franchise have hit $2.34 billion.
