Gong Yoo’s agency hints at his upcoming project with Song Hye-Kyo

As per IsPlus.com, Gong Yoo’s agency management, Soop, talked about his upcoming project to Daily Sports. They said (originally in Korean), “We have received a proposal for writer Noh Hee-Kyung’s new work and are reviewing it.” The storyline of the series is going to be a period drama with realistic scenes of people who work in the broadcasting industry. Even though there’s not much information about the drama, it seems it’s going to be a fun-filled rom-com.

Gong Yoo, who has shown his versatility over the years through his acting skills, might play the male lead in the drama. Meanwhile, Song Hye-Kyo, who has proved her worth as an actress in the last few projects, might play the female lead. Even though there’s no update from the actress’s side, the audience will be quite excited if the project comes through.

Gong Yoo was last seen in a special role in Squid Game. He is now gearing up for another special appearance in Squid Game 2.
