Korean entertainment’s popularity has spread all over the world, including India. One of the reasons is streaming platforms like Netflix provide Hindi-dubbed K-Dramas.

Hindi is the language commonly used in India. Hence, Netflix has made many popular Korean dramas and movies available in that language, making them accessible to a wider range of audience. 

Some of the best Hindi-dubbed K-dramas include Squid Game, Doona!, and many more. Take a look at the list:

Squid Game

Squid Game is a 2021 Hindi-dubbed K-Drama movie that was nominated for Oscars. It revolves around Seong Gi-Hun (Lee Jung-Jae) who joins a strange game alongside 455 players. The recruiter (Gong Yoo) hunts people who are vulnerable and in debt. The participants get excited when they are introduced to the survival game with a prize money of 45.6 billion won (over $38 lakh). In the first challenge, they find out that it is a game of life and death.

The cast also includes Park Hae-Soo, Oh Young-Soo, Jung Ho-Yeon, Heo Sung-Tae, Kim Joo-Ryung, Anupam Tripathi, Yu Seong-Ju, Lee Yoo-Mi, Hong Woo-Jin, and Wi Ha-Joon. Season 2 will premiere next year.

Sweet Home

Sweet Home Season 1 is a Hindi-dubbed K-Drama on Netflix. It is a supernatural zombie drama, starring Song Kang as Cha Hyun-Su. He is a high school student who moves into a new apartment and wants to commit suicide after losing his family. But his plan changes when a deadly virus hits the city. 

As people turn into monsters, Hyun-Su and his neighbors decide to fight the deadly virus. The spine-chilling first season ended on a cliffhanger. Sweet Home Season 2 will premiere on December 1, 2023, on Netflix. 

Doona!

Doona! is the 2023 celebrity romance drama, starring Bae Suzy in the titular role. She is a retired K-pop band member who lives in a building, secluded from the outside world. When a young man named Lee Won-Jun (Yang Se-Jong) moves to her building, they form a comfortable bond. His warm heart attracts her towards him, leading to a romantic relationship. 

However, things go sideways when Doona’s first love reappears. It is a nine-episode Hindi-dubbed K-Drama on Netflix. Aside from the lead cast, the series also stars Ha-Young, Park Se-Wan, Kim Do-Wan, Kim Min-Ho, and Lee Jin-Uk.

Start-Up

Start-Up is a 2020 Hindi-dubbed K-Drama that deals with a love triangle. Seo Dal-Mi (Bae Suzy) wants to open her own company and prove her worth to her estranged sister. Two men enter her life and help her achieve her dreams.

Han Ji-Pyeong (Kim Sun-Ho) was her pen pal but he used Nam Do-San’s name in his letters. When Dal-Mi goes to look for Do-San as an adult, she meets the real him (Nam Joo-Hyuk). For some time, Ji-Pyeong and Do-San let Dal-Mi believe their lies. During the process, both of them fell for her but only one resides in her heart.

The King: Eternal Monarch

The King: Eternal Monarch is also one of the Hindi-dubbed K-dramas on the streamer. The 2020 Korean drama is a fantasy romance series, starring Lee Min-Ho and Kim Go-Eun in lead roles.

The Kingdom of Corea’s (1994) King Lee Gon time-travels to the year 2019 to the Republic of Korea. He encounters Jeong Tae-Eul and tells her a strange connection between them. She doesn’t believe him until Tae-Eul ends up going back to 1994. Amid their romance, Lee Gon looks for his uncle who killed his father.
