The sensational thriller by Ekta Kapoor, Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2, dropped its highly-anticipated trailer, shedding light on the dark side of the internet. A sequel to the 2010 movie Love Sex Aur Dhokha, the upcoming thriller is also directed by Dibakar Banerjee alongside Balaji Motion Pictures as producer.
The movie stars Tusshar Kapoor, Mouni Roy, Uorfi Javed, Nimrit Ahluwalia, and Anu Malik, among others. It is touted to explore the complexities and secrets of modern-day love and relationships in the digital era. Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2 will have its theatrical release on April 19, 2024.

Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2 teaser released
On April 1, 2024, the makers of Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2 took to their social media to drop the teaser of the movie. They captioned the post with, “Easy to Swallow, Hard to Resist….LSD2 ka pehla Dose. #LoveSexAurDhoka2Teaser out now #LoveSexAurDhoka2 in cinemas on 19th April.”
The 2-minute-long teaser provides viewers a glimpse of audience-driven shows and the lives of the up-and-coming Gen Z influencers. From on-screen kisses on live TV to a reality series contestant slapping her mother, the movie captures the new-age toxicity as authentically as possible. In between the catfights and drama, a brutal murder also takes place. Uorfi Javed also made a brief cameo in the teaser.
Prior to the teaser’s release, director Dibakar Banerjee warned the audiences through a disclaimer about the sequel being even bolder than the last movie, warranting a person’s discretion.
He said, “Making ‘LSD’ and not showing the truth is not possible. So, while making ‘LSD 2’, we portrayed the same truth, an authentic picture of life that we see all around us. But, these days, instead of believing the truth, the fashion of ignoring the truth has increased. So, if you are in that fashion, then I can give you a disclaimer that you should not watch the ‘LSD 2’ teaser or trailer. If you are not an adult then do not watch the ‘LSD 2’ teaser or trailer.”
