Ibrahim Ali Khan‘s upcoming romcom, Nadaniyan, added two more stars to its cast – Suniel Shetty and Dia Mirza.
Produced by Karan Johar‘s Dharmatic Entertainment, Nadaniyan will have a direct-to-OTT release, marking Shauna Gautam’s directorial debut. It will also star Khushi Kapoor in the lead. Before this, Ibrahim Ali Khan will make his debut in Bollywood with Sarzameen starring Kajol and Prithviraj Sukumaran.
According to a source, “Nadaniyan will be a very likable love story in the rom-com space. Producer Karan Johar offered it to Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor even before their debut film was out. The movie is a state-of-art boy-meets-girl romcom designed to accentuate Ibrahim and Khushi’s collective charms. Shauna Gautam assisted Karan Johar on Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.”
As per recent reports, actors Suniel Shetty and Dia Mirza have also joined the cast for the movie.
Suniel Shetty and Dia Mirza to join Nadaniyan
According to reports, Suniel Shetty and Dia Mirza are reuniting for Nadaniyan. The actors have previously worked together in movies like Dus Kahaniyaan (2007), Fight Club: Members Only (2006), Cash (2007), and Blackmail (2005). Both actors will play significant roles in the movie, with their characters portraying crucial parts of the storyline.
Suniel Shetty appeared in the Amazon miniTV series Hunter Tootega Nahi Todega. Furthermore, Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Raveena Tandon, Disha Patani, and Jacqueline Fernandez will be seen alongside him in the upcoming movie Welcome to the Jungle. As for Dia Mirza, she was seen in the Bheed and Dhak Dhak. The Amazon Prime Video series Made in Heaven’s Season 2 featured the actress.
Khushi Kapoor, who will be starring as the lead in Nadaniyan, made her acting debut with Netflix’s The Archies. The movie, directed by Zoya Akhtar, marked Suhana Khan and Agastya Nanda’s debut. It was released on Netflix on November 22, 2023. Naadaniyaan will mark her second movie in the industry.
