Prabhas took the internet by storm on the occasion of Sankranti as he announced his film, The Raja Saab with Maruthi. The Telugu star is known for signing big-budget movies driven by action and drama. However, he surprised everyone, as the upcoming film is a romantic horror comedy. To date, very little is known about the movie as the director has kept its plot details under wraps. Yet, IMDb gave away the story of the film which is allegedly fake.
Prabhas was last seen in Prashanth Neel’s action drama Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire. Despite mixed reviews, the movie is having a roll at the box office and has minted millions. It has been a while now since fans got to watch Prabhas in a rather light-hearted film. Therefore, it would be a treat to catch him in The Raja Saab.
The Raja Saab poster saw Prabhas clad in a shirt and lungi. His expression was evident that the film would be a funny one.
The Raja Saab director Maruthi dismisses IMDb plot details of the film
IMDb is a site that viewers turn to for details about shows and movies. However, the site seemingly reported a wrong synopsis of Maruthi and Prabhas’ The Raja Saab. Taking to his official X (formerly Twitter) handle, the filmmaker threw light on the issue. He shared a screenshot of the plot that the site had mentioned. It read, “It revolves around a couple who fall in love but are set to change destiny due to a negative energy.”
However, Maruthi alleged that this was not the plot he was working on with Prabhas. In the funniest manner, he wrote, “Ararare, I don’t know this plot. So shooting with a different script. Ippudu IMDB Samajam accept chestada mari (Will IMDb accept me now?)”
