Crimson Peak Poster Exclusive: Charlie Hunnam

In anticipation of its Hall H panel this Saturday, Guillermo del Toro’s gothic haunter Crimson Peak has four new character posters. Premiering today across as many sites, ComingSoon and Shock Till You Drop present an exclusive look at an angelic Charlie Hunnam, ready for a fight.

One of the most anticipated horror films of the year, and likely of San Diego Comic-Con (with Hall H master del Toro on hand to talk the film), Crimson Peak stars Hunnam, Jessica Chastain, Tom Hiddleston and Mia Wasikowska. It’s “set in the aftermath of a family tragedy and follows an aspiring author, torn between love for her childhood friend and the temptation of a mysterious outsider. Trying to escape the ghosts of her past, she is swept away to a house that breathes, bleeds… and remembers.” Hunnam is said childhood friend. Here, he re-teams with del Toro here after 2013’s monsters vs mechs blockbuster, Pacific Rim.

Crimson Peak looks lush, eerie and—typical of del Toro—imaginative as hell. We’ll see more of the film Saturday, July 11th at 2:30 p.m. when Legendary Pictures take the Hall H stage in San Diego. del Toro will share the panel with Michael Dougherty’s anticipated Trick ‘r Treat follow-up Krampus and Duncan Jones’ epic Warcraft.
