Spider-Man 4’s Tom Holland Recalls His Most Embarrassing MCU Spoiler Screwup

Tom Holland recently recalled spilling one MCU spoiler that still embarrasses him. The 30-year-old, who plays Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is notorious for dropping unwanted spoilers.

Holland’s shenanigans ahead of Infinity War caused a lot of stir. The actor accidentally revealed the Avengers: Infinity War poster live on social media. Next up, he spoiled the information that Spider-Man will travel to space in the movie. However, there was one more embarrassing spoiler he gave out in front of none other than Kevin Feige.

How Tom Holland accidentally spoiled Avengers: Infinity War in front of Kevin Feige

During the Spider-Man: Brand New Day premiere, Complex caught up with Tom Holland. The Marvel star was asked about the one spoiler that he regretted the most and wished people had forgotten. Responding to the question, Holland said, “Yeah, I remember when Infinity War was coming out, Kevin Feige, the legend, always does this thing where he rents a party bus, and we drive around LA, and we surprise fans in the first opening night screenings.”

He added, “And I thought that we were walking into a room of people that had seen the movie; I thought the movie had ended. And I walked on stage, and I said, ‘Don’t worry everybody, I’m still alive.’ And there was this huge collective sigh, and I was like, ‘Wow, I thought that was gonna get a bigger reaction.'”

Immediately after this, Holland recalled how he looked over to Feige, who gestured to him to stop speaking. Surely, this was a huge spoiler for the fans. At the end of Infinity War, Peter Parker was a victim of Thanos’ snap, who would eventually come back in Avengers: Endgame.

Thankfully, Holland has been maintaining a tight lip ahead of his latest release. While there are many queries from the fans about Sadie Sink‘s character, the actor has not spilled anything this time around.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day will hit the theaters on July 31, 2026.
