So that adaptation of Stephen King’s The Good Marriage is finally coming out and it looks…well, like one of the less exciting adaptations to come along.
King penned the script himself, working from his short story in “Full Dark, No Stars” which was originally published in November 2009.
When her husband (Anthony LaPaglia) of more than twenty years is away on one of his business trips, Darcy Anderson (Joan Allen) looks for batteries in the garage. Instead she discovers the stranger inside her husband.
Its a horrifying discovery, rendered with bristling intensity, and it definitively ends a good marriage.
Peter Askin directs and Screen Media is giving this a release on October 3rd.
