According to The Hollywood Reporter, Josh Lucas and Lynn Collins will star. Lucas has appeared in films like American Psycho and Hulk; Collins, meanwhile, starred in last year’s sci-fi spectacle John Carter.
According to THR, the series goes like this:
Occult revolves around an FBI agent who has returned from administrative leave after going off the deep end while investigating his wifes disappearance. Eager to be back on the job, he is paired with an agent with her own complicated backstory who specializes in the occult. Together, they will solve cases for the newly formed occult crimes task force.
James Wong (Final Destination) is penning the first episode. Of course, he’s no stranger to this sort of formula having contributed to The X-Files and Millennium. Later, he went on to become a part of the American Horror Story team.
