Okay, so a live-action feature of Blood: The Last Vampire didn’t quite work out. But that hasn’t prevented the property – first proven widely popular in a short 2000 anime film by Hiroyuki Kitakubo – from enjoying success across various different mediums.
Over the last decade, Blood: The Last Vampire has evolved in anime, stretching across two television shows. Now there are plans for a feature animated film and we’ve got the trailer.
Blood-C: The Last Dark is expected to arrive sometime in 2012. Tsutomu Mizushima directs, a veteran of the Blood-C series upon which this gory new entry is based.
