• This is too cool. Devin, over at Bad Ass Digest, was sent a handful of images of original VHS horror art exhumed at MPI. There’s a look at Death Dream below. Click on the Bad Ass link for more.

• A trailer for the Korean horror film Blind. This one comes from Arang director Ahn Sang-hoon and sounds a bit like Wait Until Dark. “After witnessing a terrible and bloody crime, a blind woman named soo-ah has to face the killer alone, with only her acute remaining senses to rely on.” Question: How did the blind woman witness a murder? Oh, just watch the trailer…

• Arrow in the Head has the trailer premiere for IFC’s Spiderhole. In Arrow fashion, the trailer is accompanied by pics of hot chicks.

• Mimic is making its way to Blu-Ray on September 27. Guillermo del Toro is providing an intro and audio commentary. Special features will include a behind-the-scenes featurette retrospective, a creature featurette, outtakes, storyboard animatics, and deleted/alternate scenes.

• Clive Barker is getting behind a Kickstarter campaign to help generate funds for Mark Miller’s film. The filmmaker says, “The Sickness is about a young woman, named Karen Hamer, who contracts a mysterious and vicious illness that leaves her no choice but to find a cure by any means necessary. So, with the aid of her fiance, Clay Bonham, she embarks on a psychotic cross country road trip, and in the process, lays waste to everything she encounters.” Head to this spot for a video from Miller and more.

• IDW Publishing is turning “30 Days of Night” into a monthly title. Creator Steve Niles is involved and he’s teaming up with illustrator Sam Kieth.

This terrifying new tale begins when a letter from Barrow, Alaska, carries a cryptic warning to a young, curious woman, leading her down a rabbit hole and face-to-face with her desires…and likely her demise. Elsewhere in Los Angeles, a vampire resurrection ignites, which could threaten the very way of life of all mankind.

• Speaking of comics, here’s a preview of “Hellboy: The Fury” #2. Really digging where this tale is going.

• From the Italian production outfit Necrostorm comes Adam Chaplin, a horror-action hybrid that looks pretty nuts. Check out their videos below and follow this link to Necro’s site.

• Horror-themed claymation music video “Nightmare.” The band you’re listening to is Love Automatic. Chainsaws, possession, Egon, psychics and more await.

• Oni Press releases the first two issues of “Spontaneous.”

Driven to discover the truth regarding his father’s mysterious death many years prior, Melvin Reyes seeks to prove the existence of Spontaneous Human Combustion after fresh outbreaks of the phenomenon reveal a pattern only he can see, a predictability model only he can read, and the terrifying realization that whatever phenomenon consumed his father is also boiling inside of him, just waiting for release.

• Bunny, the web series. A dude in rabbit ears mows down folks with Boston accents.

• io9 has a script review for R.I.P.D.. The film stars Ryan Reynolds and Jeff Bridges and is being described at Men in Black meets Ghostbusters.

• What was whispered in Rick Grimes’ ear at the end of The Walking Dead season one? Well, we have our theories. And so does TV Guide. Creator Robert Kirkman responds. Beware, there are spoilers if you follow that link.

• A Near Dark poster by “Rue Morgue” artist Gary Pullin.
