You’ll see it before year’s end
After two festival appearances, Venice and Toronto, Darren Aronofsky’s Black Swan will opens in theaters December 1.
Fox Searchlight is handling distribution.
The psychological thriller stars Natalie Portman, Mila Kunis, Vincent Cassel, Winona Ryder, Barbara Hershey and Sebastian Stan. Portamn plays a veteran ballerina who finds herself locked in a competitive situation with a rival dancer, with the stakes and twists increasing as the dancers approach a big performance. But it’s unclear whether the rival is a supernatural apparition or if the protagonist is simply having delusions.
