Who will she play?
Entertainment Weekly reports that Julia Stiles is in advanced talks to play a major, top-secret role in the upcoming fifth season of Showtime’s Dexter.
Showrunner Chip Johannessen previously told the magazine, “We’re not going to have a single Big Bad this season. We don’t want to try and top John Lithgow, so we’re going to change up the forces that Dexter’s going to be dealing with.”
The role would mark Stiles’ first major foray into television.
And I’m thrilled to hear they are going to mix things up regarding an adversary for Dexter. On a season to season basis, the formula was growing thin and I though Dexter shouldn’t always get his man. Can’t wait to see what unfolds this time, given how season four concluded.
