Marcus Dunstan’s directorial debut
Update: Blu-Ray.com has The Collector listed for a April 6th release date.
While we’re still awaiting official word, VideoETA has a tentative April 2010 release date pegged for the release of Marcus Dunstan’s directorial debut The Collector, which saw a limited theatrical run this past summer.
Co-scripted by Dunstan with writing partner Patrick Melton (the same duo behind Saw IV, Saw V and Saw VI, as well as the Feast trilogy), The Collector is about an ex-con who breaks into the country home of his wealthy employer in an effort to steal a valuable jewel only to realize that his family has been abducted by a masked killer who has rigged the house with deadly traps.
The flick stars Josh Stewart, Andrea Roth, Michael Reilly Burke, Madeline Zima, Karley Scott Collins, Juan Fernández, Jabari Thomas and Colvin Roberson.
Dunstan talked a bit about what we can expect on the DVD release in our previous news post here. We’ll do a bit more digging and see if we can pinpoint an exact release date.
