Voorhees Dreams of Escarpeta
That’s the great thing about these ensemble slasher flicks, the casting news never stops. Variety is throwing another name into the Friday the 13th ring: Arlen Escarpeta.
The young actor reportedly is taking a leading role in Platinum Dunes’ film which also stars Jared Padalecki, Amanda Righetti and Danielle Panabaker. Escarpeta has appeared in the TV show American Dreams as well as We Are Marshall and The Ten.
Friday the 13th is on track for a February 13, 2009 release date.
