What is important to know about Marvel and DC’s SDCC Hall H presentations?
Fans will soon witness the long-awaited San Diego Comic-Con Hall H panels for both Marvel Studios and DC Studios. However, it’s crucial for them to know exactly when each studio takes the stage and track every surprise announcement as it breaks live from the convention floor.
Speaking of Marvel, it will host the Hall H panel at 2026 SDCC on July 25, 2026, at 5:30 PM PT, according to the official Comic-Con website. This time, Marvel Studios’ president Kevin Feige is expected to reveal several big updates.
While the official Avengers: Doomsday trailer was recently released online, some new rumors suggest that there might be another trailer making its way to the San Diego Comic-Con. Additionally, some insiders have also claimed that Marvel may reveal updates on Avengers: Secret Wars as well as the next X-Men reboot movie’s cast members.
However, all the unverified reports should be taken with a grain of salt for now unless there’s any official confirmation. The Marvel team will try to make it big at the SDCC this weekend, similar to how it shocked everyone with the reveal of Robert Downey Jr.’s comeback to the MCU, as Doctor Doom, back in 2024.
As for DC, it will mostly focus on promoting its upcoming HBO drama, Lanterns. The Hall H panel for the series will take place on July 24, 2026, at 1:30 PM PT. The series will have Kyle Chandler as Hal Jordan and Aaron Pierre as John Stewart.
The plot of the detective series will be set in Nebraska. It will showcase a grounded version of the Green Lanterns. Co-creator of the show, Damon Lindelof, recently mentioned that Lanterns will focus more on the human aspect of the superhero characters. “It’s easy to forget that superheroes are human beings. What they want are the same things you and I want.”
Besides Chandler and Pierre, the Lanterns TV series will also include Kelly Macdonald, Garret Dillahunt, Poorna Jagannathan, Jason Ritter, and Ulrich Thomsen.
