DC League of Super-Pets Gets Teaser, Video Game Tie-In Announced

Dwayne Johnson didn’t just have one film at the DC FanDome; he had two. He’s going to star in the upcoming DC League of Super-Pets, which just got its another teaser. A video game tie-in was also announced. The film’s release date is May 20, 2022 and the game is just slated for 2022 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

The Super-Pets film has a stacked cast of well-known actors. Dwayne Johnson will play Krypto while Kevin Hart will play opposite as him as Ace, the dog relieving himself in the trailer. Vanessa Bayer, John Krasinski, Diego Luna, Natasha Lyonne, Kate McKinnon, Marc Maron, and Keanu Reeves are among the supporting cast. The first full trailer is coming in November.

The game, on the other hand, doesn’t appear have any or all of that talent seen in the film as Krypto’s voice was decidedly not Johnson’s. Regardless, it is an on-rails shooter reminiscent of Panzer Dragoon or Star Fox. PHL Collective is developing, a team known for licensed games like Ben 10: Omni-Charged and We Bare Bears: Food Truck Rush. Its publisher, Outright Games, is also known for kids games like Paw Patrol The Movie: Adventure City Calls, The Addams Family: Mansion Mayhem, My Friend Peppa Pig, and more.
