Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation season 2 episode 18 recap: Rudeus receives a letter from Geese as Sylphy announces her pregnancy
Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation season 2, episode 18, “Turning Point 3,” saw Rudeus having the time of his life. He had resolved matters with Norn, spent quality time with Aisha, and Sylphiette announced her pregnancy.
At the University, Rudeus and Nanahoshi discussed plans to send Nanahoshi home. All in all, everything was going well until Rudeus received a letter from Geese.
The message in the letter was cryptic and seemed to have been written in a hurry. This suggested urgency on Geese’s end, who had requested Rudeus’ aid with Zenith’s rescue mission.
A confused Rudeus saw the Man-God, who advised him to avoid the mission. He also advised Rudeus to cheat on Sylphiette, making matters difficult for the protagonist.
Rudeus’ world came crashing down in the wake of the letter. He worried about Sylphiette and did not want to leave the university even though Sylphiette urged Rudeus to go on the mission. However, Rudeus finally decided to depart when he saw Norn leaving the house to go in his place.
Norn’s bold step made Rudeus realize that he was capable of helping Paul while Norn was not. Hence, he decided to go on the mission.
