The Apothecary Diaries episode 7: What happened previously?

Upon learning about these four treasures, Xiaolan drops a surprising piece of news that Maomao now has the opportunity to temporarily leave the palace. This revelation urges Maomao to seek more information and thereby leads her to approach Lihaku with a request to return home.
But, as it happens, Lihaku initially hesitates and shows reluctance. However, Maomao remains undeterred and persuades him by offering him an opportunity that he could not deny. She offers Lihaku a chance to spend time with one of her three foster sisters, who are renowned as the top courtesans in the country. As Lihaku agrees, Maomao uses his assistance to successfully return home, and the episode concludes with a hint of another adventure awaiting Maomao in Hanamachi.
