Walt Disney Pictures has revealed six new pictures from Sam Raimi‘s Oz the Great and Powerful giving you a closer look at the magical world of Oz as well as some additional information at just what exactly you’re looking at and the characters in the film.
The film, which is set to hit theaters on March 8, 2013, stars James Franco, Mila Kunis, Rachel Weisz, Michelle Williams and Zach Braff and centers on small-time magician Oscar Diggs (Franco) who pulls one flimflam too many and he finds himself hurled into the fantastical Land of Oz where he must somehow transform himself into the great and powerful Wizard—and just maybe into a better man as well.
In the pictures included in this post you’ll see Diggs floating over Oz, a look at China Towne, see Diggs and Theodora (Kunis) travel the Yellow Brick Road, a valley in the Land of Oz, Michelle Williams as the Good Witch, Glinda and the pond where Diggs first encounters Theodora.
